♥Hello, and welcome to my little shop, where hopefully you'll find that special something to turn that normal present or card into something that will really be cherished and stand out from the shop-bought crowd - make you look extra amazing!

♥My name is Mary, and I create all the Quite Contrary Craft items from my little house in London, or my family cottage out in the country in Lancashire.

♥I've always loved art and getting 'stuck in there' (hand me a paintbrush and i'm happy for hours!), and finally I've found a productive outlet! So, in my evenings and any other free time I can cram in, 24-hour day abiding, I can be found in amongst piles of cards and anything crafty. After making birthday presents and cards for quite a while for friends and family (though i'd like to think they've evolved a lot since a splodge of paint in the middle of a card, with most on the carpet - sorry mum!), here's my little shop so you lovely people can get your hands on them too!

♥Specialising in personalised hand-cut cards, most of my cards can be personalised very easily -if there's anything on here that takes your fancy but it's not quite the right colour/theme, just give me a bell and I'll be very happy to make you a custom item.

Shipping and Payment Details

All my cards are packed into card-lined envelopes (sometimes with an extra piece of card too) so there's no chance of them bending in the post - making sure they get to your doorstep in tip top condition!

After payment has been recieved, within 1-2 days I will have created your item and posted it by Royal Mail First Class Registered Post (or regular First Class at the moment as apparently with the Strikes that's quicker!) so itshould arrive on your doorstep 1-2 days later.

For any urgent items just send me a message and I'll sort out Next Day delivery for you.

Payment on Folksy is via Paypal. Don't worry if you don't have an account - you can pay directly from your card through their site.
