At CreatedByCarole you will find a mix of Homewares, Jewellery, Gifts and Accessories, all made by hand with love and care in Derbyshire by me.

My inspiration is taken from nature and the natural beauty of flowers combined with a love affair with beads! My designs are ever evolving as I take inspiration from a variety of sources.

I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment that I get when I turn hundreds of tiny glass beads and a reel of wire into something that can last a lifetime and beyond.

My French Beaded creations come with care instructions and are sure to be a talking point!

I also have other Folksy shops: My bead shop Bead Shack and my Supplies shop Folksy Pound Shop which sells assorted new and de-stash craft supplies

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Online sales of goods including commissions/custom made items are regulated by the Distance Selling Regulations. Please take the time to read these few paragraphs that relate to the services that I offer. I aim to please, always. If there is a problem with your purchase, please contact me within 7 days of receipt of goods and we will decide, together, what to do. Please do not send anything back to me until I have asked you to do so.

My Household: I live in a non-smoking household but I do have a dog. He is kept away from my finished items which are cleaned and then stored in grip seal bags or boxes until dispatch.

Payment: Payment is via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to use this method as you can simply use a credit/debit card. Once I have received payment I will despatch your order.

Postage and Packaging: I aim to package and post most items within 3 working days of payment. However, in the case of a commissioned or custom made item the time scale will be agreed prior to the commencement of the work. Where possible, I reuse packaging to minimise waste.

All items are sent First Class or by Airmail . However Royal Mail does not insure jewellery unless it is sent by 'Special Delivery' or 'International Signed For'. If you wish your order to be sent by 'Special Delivery' or 'International Signed For' please contact me prior to purchase for a quote. Some of my more expensive items do include 'Special Delivery' and/or 'International Signed For' . If this is the case you will find details of the delivery method within the individual item description.

Non-delivery: Please check that your PayPal address is up to date and is the same as your Folksy registered address. That way I will know where to post your order to. It is your responsibility to make sure your addresses match. However, if I notice a discrepancy I will check with you. Items returned through non-delivery due to an incorrect address will incur a redelivery charge.

Very occasionally parcels do get lost so please allow 3 weeks for delivery of UK Parcels and 5 weeks for International Parcels. If your parcel does not arrive within this time scale please contact me to discuss either receiving an alternative item or receiving a full refund including postage & packing costs

Returns: I aim for 100% customer satisfaction. If there is a problem with your purchase please contact me as soon as possible and we will decide together what to do about it.

If you wish to return an item please inform me within 7 days of receipt of goods. Items must be returned within 7 days of notification of intention to return. On receipt of the returned goods I will refund your payment including the original delivery costs. Unless your item is faulty, you are responsible for own return postage costs. You have a statutory duty to ensure that any items are returned as soon as possible in good re-saleable condition. Please also return goods in the original packaging. If appropriate I will repair damaged items but this may not always be possible.

Please note that due to the unique nature of many of my items I may not be able to offer a like-for-like exchange.

Any earrings that are returned will have the ear fittings replaced for new ones before being offered for resale to ensure good hygiene.

Commissioned/Custom Made items: I welcome challenges, so it is always worth asking if you don't see quite what you are looking for. For commissioned/custom made items all requirements, including time scale, must be agreed in writing (e-mail) prior to the commencement of work. Your right to cancel your custom made order ends with your written agreement to commence work as set out in 3.38, Regulation 13 of the Distance Selling Regulations.

Commissions and Custom orders must be paid for upon the agreement to commence work. All details of the custom order and time scales agreed will be set out in the custom order listing. If for any reason I find myself unable to meet the time scale agreed I will make contact immediately to discuss options.
