About Storm Gull

Storm Gull

Storm Gull creates beautiful things from found seaglass and also crafts fabric furnishings for your home.

Hello I'm Tess and call myself Storm Gull for my shop name as the idea of a wild sea bird soaring over the waves is a mental image that really appeals to me. After a storm is usually the best time to look for new seaglass washed ashore.
I work from my traditional Welsh cottage on the Isle of Anglesey, where I'm lucky to be surrounded by lovely countryside and close to many great beaches.
I've been collecting seaglass for many years now, from Scottish and Welsh beaches mostly but also from wherever I go on my travels. I love to make the best pieces of seaglass into jewellery and pictures.
I also love to work with fabric to make fun and colourful items for the home, to bring pattern and colour into every room.
I'm new to Folksy and looking forward to being part of the creative community :)
