Hi, I'm Angela, a qualified jeweller in South Wales. I hand make sustainable and eco-conscious fine jewellery to order, as well as maintain the sister brand Dear Lobe - a fun fashion brand at a pocket friendly price point.

I began making jewellery to relax after long days in the office or busy days parenting. I've always had a creative side and enjoyed sharing skills and expertise with others, and so after getting so far with wirework and the basics of silversmithing, I decided to take a leap of faith and re-train as professional jeweller. I qualified with distinction and began making my own collections. I now make work to commission via my own website (orchardjewellery.co.uk) as well as run the sister brand, Dear Lobe, originally started up by my lovely daughter.

I've been fortunate enough to learn from some wonderful silversmiths and jewellers around the UK, cementing this with undertaking a professional diploma in silver jewellery, as well as continuing my formal training with recognised professional bodies such as the Goldsmiths Centre and the British Academy of Jewellery. I also have a postgraduate teaching qualification, and run on-site workshops in which I embrace all learning styles.

Living sustainably is important to me and a big part of my work ethic. I prioritise using sustainable, ethically sourced materials in all my pieces, and my packaging is Forestry Standards Commission approved.

You can be assured that your piece will arrive in beautiful condition, and for those more precious items which require hallmarking, I am assay office registered. My registered makers mark will additionally be applied to your items. For your peace of mind, my work is confidently covered by a 6 month guarantee for manufacturing defects, as a testament to my high standards.
