Hi my name is Ann Hughes, I am retired and have six beautiful grandchildren ranging in age from 8 all the way up to 23.
I have a beautiful spaniel called Dora, and love a good walk along a beach, especially in winter.
I taught myself bead weaving a few years ago, and love how those shiny beads and some thread can be made into something beautiful, but my first love is knitting, I have been knitting since I was old enough to hold a pair of knitting needles, and absolutely love going into a wool shop and seeing all the lovely balls of wool.
I used to knit everything for my children, including their school jumpers and cardigans, until it was no longer cool to wear things knitted by mom.
I also like to crochet which I learnt when I was 11, and left alone for many years, I have recently found enthusiasm for it again during lockdown.
