Hello and welcome to The Flossy Stitch. I'm Katie - the designer and owner of this wonderful online small business.
I have always loved sewing. I am self-taught, starting at a young age with basic cross stitch kits which then developed into more complex and difficult ones. I set up an online embroidery business in 2013 designing cross stitches however I fell in love with free style hoop embroidery and the rest is history. I'm 30 years young and I've been self employed running The Flossy Stitch since 2013 and spend my days creating unique and personalised hand stitched hoop art for customers around the world.
When I'm isn't designing and sewing delightful hoops I love reading, gardening and up-cycling furniture!
