About The Log Basket

The Log Basket

Do you have an empty fireplace, alcove or shelf space? Fill it with a stack of our decorative logs!

After some time away, it's great to be back here at Folksy. But where did it all begin for us? With tipi poles...

We originally harvested our own poles for our tipi business, from the woodlands that surrounded our home in the Forest of Dean. We had many, many offcuts - but they were too good to waste and definitely too beautiful to burn! We peeled, dried and sanded the chunks of wood...and had in our hands our first (and best selling) product, our Natural Whole Logs.

The original supplier of decorative logs in the UK, The Log Basket began trading with these superior logs and they have since filled many an empty fireplace or alcove in homes, hotels, bars and department stores throughout the UK and EU.
We have gradually expanded our range to complement popular interior design trends, from rustic Split Logs to Scandi-Style Whitewashed Logs; from Log Wall Tiles - yes, you can clad an entire wall to create a stunning feature! - to luxurious Gold Leaf shimmering accent logs. You'll find that we now offer a wide range of finishes and curated colour palettes to suit virtually any design scheme. We also make log mosaics for your wall in various sizes, shapes and colours...and have you spotted our hand sculpted wooden Cattle Skulls?

Hand-crafted log deer have been added, periodically, to our range over the the years - in a family of sizes. We're proud to say that these beauties have been seen in many places including Harrods (complete with gilded, golden antlers, noses and tails) and The White Company; we have even created several rather special 6' tall stags...and hundreds of teeny tiny fawns too!
