With an artistic and very creative background and flair for colour and design in various forms, Cape Town mosaic artist Kim Schwerdtfeger, discovered mosaics at a Kalk Bay workshop she attended when her son was two years old. Working in corporate for many years, the pull to engage creatively never left her and when time allowed, she would find herself painting, gardening and mosaicing.
Through circumstance and life’s journey, Kim found more and more that mosaics were an absolute passion and from 2016 has been working passionately at turning her hobby into a business full time.
